Suggest-A-Site Help
Use your mouse or the navigation tools to explore the map. Click on the
map to zoom in, and/or click and drag to pan. Use the pan tools along the edge
of the map to pan to the North, South, East and West.
Click on the Select
Area tool to zoom in to a specific area. To use the
tool, click, drag and click to select an area.
 This map shows the EarthScope plans for
a grid of seismic stations across the entire United
States. Click on a marker to show more detailed site information.
Using the text box located above the map, enter a zip code, city, or lat/long coordinates to navigate directly to a location.
 Use
the Marker tool to click within a planned placement
area (blue circle) to suggest a site. Some areas on the map will generate information
about the suggested location. Review the information provided,
then click submit. Fill out the Potential Landowner
Info form as completely as possible and then click Send Your Suggestion to
EarthScope.
If no information about the suggested site is generated, click
Show Panel and fill out the Potential Landowner Info form as completely
as possible and then click Send Your Suggestion to
EarthScope.
